Manufacturing Information:
The Frame itself is most likely made in China. A mold is used to construct the frame. The plastic is then poured into the mold. The electric motor is manufactured by a company that is most likely Mitsubishi Electric, due to their prominence in this field. All of the smaller components, such as the safety, power button, base, cup, and stir rod are most likely manufactured in-house. Once all of the components are at the same place, machines complete the final assembly.
At the end of its lifecycle, the Milkshake Mixer can have components of it be recycled. Most of the parts of the milkshake mixer can be recycled, however the frame most likely cannot be recycled.
Creating the mixer is not a super green process. There are going to be waste products such as excess plastic and scrap metal. Also there are some gases that will be produced as by products that are potentially detrimental to the environment.
The cost of making each milkshake mixer is relatively low. There are not very many expensive materials that go into making the product. The production cost is roughly $30 per unit. The Milkshake Mixer is not the top of the line milkshake maker. It is not the highest quality one either. However, it is a very good product for its price. We made it this way to offer our consumers the best bang for their buck.
